Weekendtastic - Some Mind-blowing Media

[I wrote this a couple days ago, but didn't post it. Just FYI about when it was written.]

Good weekend, good weekend. Got a lot of chit done, but it was mostly stuff that pretty much only exists in my head. That is, I don't have anything physical to show for it. I can't point at a garden and say, "See what I helped to grow?" or point at a porch and say, "Look at this! Come and sit with me on this fine wooden construction!"

What I did accomplish was to learn more on the guitar as well as come up with some music. I managed to record some stuff in Garageband as well. I did some writing, but mostly stuck to lyrics, which is a totally new and different thing for me. (So I guess I do have a record of some of the stuff I did.)

Read some Edgar Cayce Primer, watched A Waking Life and half of What the Bleep Do We Know. They all melded together for some seriously eye opening quantum stew. Slap together astral dynamics with lucid dreaming along with discussion of how our intention shapes reality, and that sounds like one fun class! It was funny too how they independantly spoke about many of the same concepts.

One key point of Cayce's revelations were that there is one God, but our finite mind cannot comprehend infinity so we need the trinity to be break it down into 3 pieces. The Father, Holy Spirit and Son are really just metaphors for Soul, Mind, and Body respectively.

Picture an upside down pyramid with soul at the top, then mind, then body as the point at the bottom. Soul is where intention happens, the Mind is the builder, and the Body is the result (or where things happen). I suppose the word 'body' could be interchanged with the physical world.

Um, yeah, heady stuff! So now you know what I mean by saying all I did all weekend was stuff that will only reside in my head. Except now it's in your head too!

Go rent What the Bleep Do We Know. Seriously.
