Mondays Suck + Warcraft Weekend

Wow, it's monday morning and I feel like garbage. I can't think, can't walk, can't talk, but I -can- write. So ima do what I can do and maybe this here blog posting will help get me rolling. Here goes...
I had me a pretty fantasteriffic weekend. Mostly it involved lots of video gaming with my partner and best friend Slackin. It's perhaps our favorite thing to do together.
I rolled a new toon in WoW last week, a Dranei Paladin named Rawk, and have been playing him quite a bit. I found that I like the pally and have been leveling him quicker than any previous character. For once I'm taking the time to enjoy it all, even leveling up fishing. After all, it's about enjoying the experience not just leveling up as quick as you can.
So slackin dusted off her level 20 Shaman and brought her over to Azuremist where we quested together. I learned the joys of QuestHelper thanks to Kurt Schilling mentioning it several times on The Instance. (It really is a life-changer. Get it now.)
I've also been wanting to go back and play Warcraft III - I never played it before and wanted to learn the storyline. I was thinking about buying it, but I dug thru some old discs and there it was - a diamond in the rough. I must have burned it and never got around to playing it.
So I installed it and what a treat it is: playing as Arthas before he becomes the Lich King, the beginning of the scourge and Undead, Jaina Proudmoore. Now, having played WoW gives me a different perspective on everything, but it's really fun. Oh, and the cutscenes? Still breathtaking, even for a game made in 2002. There are even hero units that gain levels and talent points you can spend. It's just so much fun to see WoW's genesis.
I almost think that Blizzard had WoW in mind when making Warcraft III. Any WoW fans out there, trust me - try out Warcraft 3. It's also a good standby to have in case you lost Internet for a while :)

I also ran my first heroic dungeon: Underbog. Did it with Slackin and 3 other really fun people. Everyone did their job well and we joked around quite a bit. Makes me want to run more instances! Got 4 Badges of Justice, but really no hunter gear. Got boatloads of Cenarion Expedition rep as well.
------
So, aside from gaming, we also went to HTML Samurai's birthday party. It was a lot of geeks geekin out and was quite a blast. We played some hackey sack and goofed around. We need to get together like that more often!
------
That's it. I'm finding it fun blogging about WoW and as I get more into it I have more to say. I definitely need some material like that to blog about, as I find blogging about web stuff or political stuff fairly boring. (And really, who wants to hear it?)
So with any luck, this may just morph into more of a WoW-focused blog. We shall see.
